Inventory Locks
In OneTruth, the inventory can be locked at three levels:
Item Level Lock: The selected item will get locked across all nodes where it is stored.
Item-Node Level Lock: All items at a selected node will get locked.
Node Level Lock: The selected item will get locked at a selected node.
The inventory locks can also be configured for a certain date range in the present or future by configuring a start and end date.
Inventory Locks Start Date
The start date applies the inventory lock from the date it is set. The start date can be the current date or a date in the future. If the start date is not defined, the inventory lock is automatically applied from the current date.
Inventory Lock End Date
You can also set an end date to automatically remove the inventory lock at the end of a certain period. If the end date is not defined, the inventory will remain locked until the lock is manually removed.
Inventory Lock Reason Codes
OneTruth has default reason codes that can be configured for your inventory locks to automatically unlock your inventory for specific items or combinations when their supply is replenished.
You can also create your own custom reason codes.
When you create inventory locks, you also have the ability to add notes that describe the reason behind adding locks.
