Inventory Availability
The Inventory Availability page provides enterprises with the details of the inventory and availability changes at different nodes. It provides a real-time picture of the inventory and assists enterprises in keeping a track of their inventory levels.
Viewing Inventory Availability
To view your Inventory Availability,
Navigate to the left panel in OneTruth and select Inventory Availability.
In order to view your available inventory, navigate to the top of the window and enter an item ID in the Search bar.
Adjusting the Inventory Availability
Adjusting inventory refers to increasing or decreasing the recorded quantity of items available. This helps to reconcile any discrepancies between an external system/physical inventory and OneTruth.
To adjust your inventory,
Navigate to the top-right corner and click Adjust. Here you can perform the following actions:
Adjust the inventory of items
Switch segments of items
Adjusting the Item Inventory
To adjust the inventory of an item,
Navigate to the Adjust Inventory tab.
Enter the details about the item and node ID that you want to adjust in their respective fields, along with the supply segment, adjustment reason and quantity.
Click Save in the top-right corner to save the data.
Adjusting the Item Segment
To switch the segment of an item,
Navigate to the Switch Segment tab.
Enter the details about the item and node ID that you want to adjust in their respective fields, along with the source and target segments.
Click Save in the top-right corner to save the data.
Applying Filters to the Inventory Availability Grid
Each of the attributes displayed within inventory availability have their own search bars that provide the functionality to search for and filter items tailored to your specific needs. For example, you can implement filters to showcase solely the items present in a specific node or those that belong to a specific product class.
To apply filters and search within inventory availability,
Navigate to the attribute to which you want to apply the search filter.
Click its name to display the search bar.
Enter the search term, then click Apply Filters.
Once you have searched for the items you want to review, you can view their details by customizing the columns displayed.
To customize your view,
Click Columns in the top-right corner, next to the attribute names.
Select and deselect the desired columns from the dropdown list by clicking the checkboxes next to the column names.
Viewing Inventory Availability Details
In the Inventory Availability window, you can view the details of each item and you can sort your view in an ascending or descending order by clicking the arrows next to the column names.
To view further details of an individual item, click the magnifying glass icon under the Actions column.
The Inventory Details window displays the inventory details for a particular item ID at a given node along with details about its demand segment, supply segments, ATP, supply breakup, and demand breakup.
The Inventory Details window can be viewed in a grid or chart format. You can toggle between the grid and chart view by clicking the Grid and Chart buttons respectively in the top-right corner of the screen.
Grid View
The grid view option displays the inventory details for a particular item ID at a given node in a grid. The inventory details are displayed in collapsible panes within the grid.
Chart View
The chart view option displays the inventory details for a particular item at a given node in the form of graphs. You can hover your cursor over the graphs for availability, supply breakup, and demand breakup to view the data that is available in each of the graphs.
Viewing Lock Status
Inventory Lock/Unlock refers to the process of temporarily withholding or releasing inventory for various reasons, such as natural calamities, holidays, unavailability of items, and special orders. Inventory Lock/Unlock can be used to manage stock levels and optimize inventory management.
The View Lock Status icon indicates whether an item's inventory has been locked at the item, node, or item-node level by an enterprise. If inventory is locked at any of these levels, the View Lock Status icon is displayed alongside it. If you hover your cursor over the View Lock Status icon then a pop-up window is displayed and provides details such as the item ID or node ID, lock date, lock duration, and reason for the lock.
Unlock Function
Inventory that has been locked at an item-node level can be manually unlocked by clicking the View Lock Status icon in the Actions column on the left.
Viewing Do Not Sell Before/Limit ATP Before Status
The Do Not Sell Before/Limit ATP Before feature enables enterprises to control product availability for sale with specific dates and quantities.
The Do Not Sell Before/Limit ATP Before icon indicates if an item has been configured with these settings. You can hover your cursor over the icon to view details in a callout. For items with multiple configurations, a clickable link displays the configuration count.
