Description

Segment Name

The label or identifier assigned to a specific inventory segment. For example, DEFAULT_DEMAND, B2C_DEMAND, B2C, B2B, ALL_DEMAND, B2B_DEMAND, and COMMON. The segment name is displayed as a clickable link, allowing you to view additional details in a callout.

Segment Type

The classification used to distinguish supply and demand segments configured in the system. Businesses can configure various supply and demand segments according to their specific needs.

Matched Segments

The alignment between demand and supply segments, ensuring that available inventory from various supply segments is allocated to meet the needs of corresponding demand segments. For example, inventory from the B2B and COMMON supply segments may be used to fulfill the needs of the B2B_DEMAND segment. This means that for B2B demand, inventory from the B2B supply segment will be prioritized first, with inventory from the COMMON supply segment used only when B2B inventory is depleted. This column is only filled for demand segments.

Default

Represents the default supply and demand segments, with only one default segment for each. If a supply or demand request is made without specifying a segment, the default segment is applied. When set to “Yes,” any request without a segment will get redirected to these configured default segments.

Notes:

  • The tenant has the ability to configure multiple demand segments along with their corresponding supply segments according to their needs and requirements.

  • Click the Sorting Arrows icon next to the Segment Name, Segment Type, and Default labels to sort each column in ascending or descending order.
